HORSEBACK RIDING TOUR
Half-day or Full-day riding adventures are available - a pleasant, leisurely way to experience the beauty of Svaneti. Picnic lunches included.
TBILISI – MESTIA (SVANETI)
Highlights: Here you can see a harmonious combination of natural beauty. When traveling, you will see numerous churches and historical monuments of IX-XII centuries with amazing frescos, as well as the striking beauty of the ancient stone towers spotted throughout the villages. At the center of Upper Svaneti is Mestia, where there is a national Ethnographic and History Museum holding numerous cultural, historical, and religious relics and icons. An hour and a half drive from Mestia is Ushguli, the highest village in Europe.

ZEMO (UPPER) SVANETI AND NAKIDARA DAY TRIP
Meet your local guide and start your 4WD trip through Zemo (Upper) Svaneti – view firsthand the exquisite beauty of wild Caucasian vistas, snow-capped mountains and remarkably friendly locals. Visit ethnographic center with Svan lodging complex, Mt. Khergiani Museum that houses replicas of unique temples of Lagami and Gekhtaga, and then continue on to the village of Nakidara to see St. George’s shrine. Includes picnic lunch. Return to Mestia for dinner with overnight stay at Hotel Tetnuldi.
